Welcome!
I'm Lena Kim, a recent graduate from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Management, concentrating in Policy and Analytics. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with leading organizations like the Chicago Cubs and Momentum Worldwide, where I refined my expertise in corporate partnerships, event management, and brand strategy. On campus, my involvement with Michigan Basketball and Recreational Sports as a student manager, analyst, and intern, have further sharpened my skills and broadened my industry knowledge.
Leadership has been a key part of my journey. As the Student Coordinator for UM Club Sports and the inaugural Director of DEI for Michigan Empowerment in Sport and Entertainment (MWESE), I’ve nurtured my passion for fostering inclusive and impactful environments. With my hands-on experience and passion for collaboration in sports, entertainment, fashion, and marketing, I'm eager to continue making meaningful contributions to the future of these industries.

These past six months, I’ve had the opportunity to work with Coach John Beilein on his basketball training brand, Beilein Basketball. What began as a leadership consulting course through the Ross School of Business quickly evolved into a post-grad role, where I continued making go-to-market efforts for his product. As the closing team lead, I spearheaded a digital launch strategy that surpassed our interest goal by 78%, activated 10+ influencers with over 100K+ followers each, and drove a 903% increase in Instagram engagement—resulting in 460 unit sales out of 700. This hands-on experience has strengthened my skills in digital marketing, brand strategy, and challenged my entrepreneurial and creative mind.
Last summer, I had the incredible opportunity to intern at Momentum Worldwide, a global brand experience agency, as a Business Leadership Intern on the
Coca-Cola account. I co-led a nationwide, cross-functional intern pitch project that resulted in new business acquisition for the agency, showcasing my ability to manage teams and drive strategic initiatives. I developed strong client relationships through market research, creative concept development, and crafting project recap decks. Additionally, I played a key role in facilitating on-site logistics and execution for major events like the Sips & Sounds Summer Music Festival and the College Football National Tour, which honed my skills in event management and coordination. This experience deepened my passion for brand strategy, experiential marketing, and creating impactful consumer experiences.
